Alexis Alston leads the investment team at Lightship Capital, a firm focused on investing in underrepresented founders in overlooked geographies in the US. In addition, she is the host and judge of Twitch Pitch, the very first pitch competition hosted on Twitch. Prior to that, she was an investor at Advantage Capital Partners where she invested both in growth stage VC and private equity deals in underserved geographies. She enjoys musical theatre, drag, the ballroom scene, and all things food with her maltese, Hamilton.
